FAQ

Q: How many 3ml sterile cartridges do I need?

A: You will use one cartridge for each vial of medication you reconstitute. They hold the same 3ml volume as your standard vials do (excludes NAD+ which comes in 10ml vials)

Q: How many needle tips do I need?

A: One per injection.

Q: What size needle tips do you stock?

A: We stock 4mm long needle tips, these are ultrafine and almost painless. They are individually sealed for your use.

Q: Where do I get new cartridges and needle tips from? A: We stock these (listed under accessories) or you can bulk buy from many chemists. They are a standard size item you can purchase anywhere. Q: How is this pen different than the Mounjaro or Wegovy pens I have used before? A: They both dispense up to 60 clicks per dose. You wind them up the same as you do the brand name pens also, and push down on the plunger to inject. The main difference is those MJ or Weg pens already have the medication prefilled in there. Instead, you will reconstitute your vial of medication as you usually do. Then, you will use a syringe to transfer the liquid into the 3ml sterile cartridge and then slot this into your new pen. After that, it's almost the same experience. The better thing about these pens is the number of clicks are marked in x 2 increments (2,4,6,8,10...) so you can clearly dispense the correct dose.

Q: How much is 1 click? I have been using 50 units on a syringe, what is the comparison? A: Good news - no maths or conversions are needed!

1 unit on a syringe is a standard unit of measure, and 1 click is the same standard unit of measure. Both are equal to 0.01ml of volume. If you have been taking 50 units on a syringe, you will take 50 clicks on a pen. Same, same.
